Common Questions

Everything you need to know before your first ride.

Do I need a boating license?
NH requires a Boating Safety Certificate for anyone born on or after January 1, 1975 who operates a motorized vessel. Free online courses at boat-ed.com/newhampshire. Must present at delivery.
What's the minimum operator age?
All operators must be at least 25 years old. We verify age by government-issued photo ID at delivery. Passengers of any age welcome with a qualified adult operator.
Where can I ride?
Any freshwater body in NH — Winnipesaukee, Squam, Sunapee, Newfound, Great Bay, and hundreds of lakes and rivers statewide. Interstate transport requires prior written approval.
Can I use it for tubing or wakeboarding?
The Wake 155 (SK-01) is tow-sport ready with advance written authorization. The GTR 230 (SK-02) is not equipped for towing. Ask us before booking if towing matters to your plans.
What's included in the price?
Delivery and pickup (NH), USCG-approved PFDs for all riders, pre-delivery safety walkthrough, and all registration and safety documents. Fuel is Renter's responsibility.
How does the security deposit work?
$900 refundable deposit collected at delivery, returned within 5 business days after satisfactory return — less any amounts for damage, late fees, or fuel shortfall.
What if something breaks down?
Call us immediately. We maintain both craft meticulously. In the case of a failure outside Renter's control, we'll work to make it right, including pro-rated adjustment where possible.
Who is NH Jet Fun?
The trade name of Veralase LLC, a registered New Hampshire LLC based in East Hampstead, NH. All rentals governed by NH law, backed by a comprehensive rental agreement, and insured.

NH Jet Fun is a small, owner-operated business based in East Hampstead, New Hampshire. We started renting because we love this state's lakes — and we wanted to make that experience available to more people without the expense of ownership.

We personally maintain both craft, deliver them to your location, and are reachable throughout your rental if anything comes up. This isn't a faceless fleet — it's two machines we care about, rented to people who'll treat them with respect.

We operate under Veralase LLC, a registered New Hampshire LLC. All rentals are backed by a comprehensive agreement governed by NH law, and we carry insurance on both craft.
